"Snowmen on Europe"--the Paper Editon

Here's a view of the paper edition of "Snowmen on Europa."

EXCLUSIVE giclee fine art prints

Introducing the Art Corner's EXCLUSIVE LINE of Fine Art Giclee Prints. The giclee process is a digital one, using computers to create the images on paper. After a digital capture of the image, using a digital camera, think of your home computer and printing out an image on your printer--except the printer costs in the FIVE digits!!!

The images are as follows:

"MOUNT VERNON of Salem, Elias Hasket Derby, Jr., Captain" from the original acrylic painting by Wendy Snow-Lang--that's me!! A Limited Editon print of 50 copies on watercolor paper.

"There're Snowmen on Europa, Y'Know" from the original acrylic painting by Charles J. Lang. A Limited Edition print of 5 printed on canvas, and 15 on watercolor paper.

"Pandora's Pumpkin" from the original acrylic painting by Charles J. Lang. A Limited Editon print of 5 printed on canvas and 25 on watercolor paper.

The original paintings will be on display at the Art Corner as well as the prints. The prints are framed for display, but available to purchase unframed, too.

Come see!!

More Info

The Art Corner was established in 1977 by David Bacigalupo as an Art Supply store. Then he was talked into Custom Framing by one of his salesmen.

I signed aboard in 1989, the year I bought my Ford Escort, which lasted for 14 more years!--and adopted our cat, Bill, who died at 12.

The store has gone through many permutations. Let me take you through the latest:

How We Spent Our Summer Vacation

Well, actually, it was Labor Day Weekend.

We spent the time remodelling the right hand side of the store, which was sorely lacking in "ambiance!"

Check it out: before, during and after.

Welcome to The Art Corner's new Blog!!

(I really don't understand yet this system, so stumble along with me as I explore!)

Hi! My name is Wendy Snow-Lang. I bought The Art Corner in May of 2005. I'd been working as the store manager for the past 16 years. The Art Corner was established in 1977 by David Bacigalupo as an Art Supply store that also did Custom Picture Framing, butDavid quickly found out that the Custom Framing was more profitable and satisfying. David decided to cut out the Art Supplies in 1998.

But, after 28 years, he decided that he had had enough. Since I was his Right Hand Man, he gave me First Options to buy. I did.

I'm going to have to back-track here.

I REALLY love what I do! I'm an Artist. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from New England School of Art and Design. Designing framing for customers' pieces is VERY MUCH an extention of my Art Background.

MANY things have happened since David proposed to me--to sell me the store!! I'm ALREADY married--and have been for 22 years to Charles Lang, Artist Extraordinaire.

We decided that the store needed a MAJOR facelift, but the transition to the "new regime" would take MAJOR TIME, too!

One step at a time.

Customers have noticed--which is nice!
